PRESIDENTS OF AZERBAIJAN AND SWITZERLAND HOLD PRESS CONFERENCE IN BAKU
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his Swiss counterpart Pascal Couchepin have today briefed journalists in Baku.
Welcoming his counterpart again, the Azerbaijani President said the meetings with the Swiss delegation focused on bilateral issues.
President Ilham Aliyev stressed the sides expressed satisfaction with the current level of political relations between Azerbaijan and Switzerland.
The President also expressed hope that the Swiss President’s current trip to Azerbaijan would become a new stage in bilateral relations.
The Swiss President for his turn said his current visit to Azerbaijan has afforded the opportunity for him to individually familiarize himself with ongoing processes in the country.
Mr. Pascal Couchepin highly appreciated the dynamic and all-round development in Azerbaijan.
He added that Switzerland intends to invest in Azerbaijan, as safe investment environment has been created in the country.
