Price for Petkim's shares increased several times, SOCAR president

"Petkim's share price has grown several times on the market," said President of SOCAR Rovnag Abdullayev.

Mr. Abdullayev said SOCAR bought 10 per cent of Petkim's shares from the state and part of the shares from the market.

He noted that Petkim's shares increased from 1.8 to 4.35 Turkish liras.

"So we want to sell part of the shares. This is a normal process," the SOCAR chief said.

SOCAR owns 61.32 per cent of shares of the Petkim PetroKimya Holding which is the biggest assets of SOCAR in Turkey.
