REGULAR SITTING OF EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF AZERBAIJAN CONFEDERATION OF TRADE UNIONS HELD
It has been marked, that ACTU together with organizations - participants has achieved realization in 2003 in military lyceum of some cultural - mass actions. Platoons, branches and cadets on these actions and competitions, have been awarded with monetary premiums, diplomas and certificates of honor of ACTU. These actions have played a positive role in increase of military - patriotic education of youth.
The actions, which have been carried out in connection with results of 2003-2004 in military lyceum have been recognized satisfactory.
During discussion of other questions of the agenda, prevention of industrial traumas, importance of objective investigation of the failures which have entailed industrial traumas have been underlined by necessity of continuation by trade unions of the actions directed on serious observance of the safety precautions on workplaces. Besides, the decision on carrying out of republican review - competition under the name “ On each workplace - cultural manufacture ” and allocation to winners of competition of monetary premiums was accepted.
At the meeting, have been authorized a plan of measures of Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan for 2004-2007 in the field of performance of decisions of the II Majlis of ACTU “On the role of trade unions in solution of problems of labor safety at the present stage”, “Plan of work of Executive Committee and apparatus of ACTU for II half of 2004”.
