Russia's approach to Nagorno-Karabakh conflict remains ‘unchanged’

“Russia's approach to the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict remains unchanged”, Russia’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova has told media in Moscow as she commented on the visit of Russian FM Sergey Lavrov to Armenia and reports alleging that Russia’s approach to the dispute changed.

According to Zakharova, Russia has close relations with both Azerbaijan and Armenia. "Russia does not do anything that could harm both sides. Our approach to the settlement of the conflict remains the same and I can reaffirm this,” said the Russian Foreign Ministry`s spokesperson.
