RUSSIA'S OIL INDUSTRY EARNS $ 70 BILLION
As reports press service for the energy industry of Russian Federation, earnings for the oil industry in Russia totaled 70 billion dollars.
Earnings from export of crude oil reached 38.8 billion dollars while those from the sale of oil products at home and abroad reached 30.3 billion dollars. Operation costs for the Russian oil industry totaled 20.1 million dollars, including 6.1 billion in transportation costs. Operation earnings reached 50 billion dollars, with a net profit for the oil industry of 25 billion dollars. The government's share of the operation earnings is 50%. Investment in basic business reached 7 billion dollars.
