RUSSIAN OPERA SINGERS PERFORM TCHAIKOVSKY’s IOLANTA IN BAKU
Russian Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Center staged Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s lyric opera Iolanta at the Azerbaijan State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet.
The opera was organized by Azerbaijan Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Moscow cultural committee.
The opera’s artistic director is Galina Vishnevskaya, whilst music director is Pavel Bubelnikov, choreographer Vitaly Viquzov and musical conductor Yaroslav Tkalenko.
The lead roles were played by Aleksey Tikhomirov, Mariya Pakhar, Sergey Plyusnin, Georgi Protsenko and others.
