Russian TV channel highlights Azerbaijan`s Oil Rocks

“Vesti. Economy” news program broadcast on Russia 24 channel has highlighted the 70th anniversary of Azerbaijan`s Oil Rocks.
The program provided an insight into the past and present of the Oil Rocks.
“Azerbaijan is marking the 70th anniversary of the legendary Oil Rocks. A city-type settlement, located 42 km to south-east of Absheron peninsula in the Caspian Sea, has been continuously producing hydrocarbons," the program`s host said.
"Founded in 1949, a man-made city of platforms on the sea featured in Guinness World Records as the world`s first offshore oil platform," the host said.
