Russia’s Channel One to commemorate Muslum Magomayev - legendary Azerbaijani performer

The Russian Channel One TV channel will rebroadcast the “Magomayev” TV series to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Muslum Magomayev, the legendary Azerbaijani performer, People's artist of Azerbaijan and USSR.
The “Magomayev” TV Series, to be rebroadcast from August 15 to 19, will highlight the life of the prominent art figure. Serbian actor Miloš Biković and Russian actress Irina Antonenko taking the roles of Muslum Magomayev and Tamara Sinyavskaya, the People’s Artist of the USSR and spouse of Magomayev, with TV series’ shootings carried out in Baku and Moscow.
The Channel One will also broadcast the documentary film entitled “Muslum Magomayev: the best voice of the Earth” on August 17.
