Şamil Ayrim: Elections in Azerbaijan were held transparently

“The people of Azerbaijan went to the election to cast ballots for a president, who will lead them for the next seven years. The people of Azerbaijan voted for the first time across the entire territory of the country, the head of the Türkiye-Azerbaijan interparliamentary friendship group of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) Şamil Ayrim told a press-conference Thursday on the outcomes of presidential election.
He noted that the overwhelming majority of voters cast their ballots for victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. This outcome has opened up great opportunities for the fulfillment of important tasks in the country.
"Azerbaijan has been pursuing an independent policy for 30 years. The election in Azerbaijan was held in a transparent manner. We will always stand with Azerbaijan. Ilham Aliyev will further develop the country together with Azerbaijani people`s support,” Şamil Ayrim underlined.
