Second international symposium on “Ahlat-Eurasia Culture Rendezvous” held in Turkey
Baku, September 30 (AZERTAC). The “Ahlat-Eurasia Culture Rendezvous” has been held at the lakeside town of Ahlat in Turkey. The painters have already arrived in Ahlat.
The symposium was co-organized by the Bitlis Eren University, Bitlis Mayoralty, the municipality of the city, and held together with Ahlat Cultural and Educational Foundation.
The scientists of scientific and research centres attended the event.
The employees of the Nakchivan section of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) spoke about their researches at the symposium.
Several painters of Turkish origin, mainly from Central Asian republics, met in the Eastern town of Ahlat for a local festival to paint the historic and cultural features of the town.
The annual event is organized for the 14th time by the International Turkish Culture Organization or TÜRKSOY.
