SEMINAR ON FIGHTING CYBERCRIME KICKS OFF IN BAKU

Baku, 25 November (AZERTAC). A seminar on fighting cybercrime organized by TAIEX, Technical Assistance Information Exchange Instrument of the European Commission, started in Baku.

The Convention “On cybercrime”, framework decisions on attacks against information systems (2005/222/ JHA), on combating the sexual exploitation of children and child pornography (2004/68/JHA) and other measures to combat against crimes in the networks will be in the focus of event.

The event participants will discuss the issues of effective cooperation with website providers to solve problems with cybercrime.

TAIEX supports partner countries with regard to the approximation, application and enforcement of EU legislation. It is largely demand driven and facilitates the delivery of appropriate tailor-made expertise to address issues at short notice.
