Seven-day Novruz holiday to start in Azerbaijan tomorrow

Starting from tomorrow, on March 20, seven non-working days (7 days) will begin in Azerbaijan in connection with the Novruz holiday.

In accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers’ decision "On the determination of the days of Novruz, Ramadan and Eid al-Adha holidays for 2024", March 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 are non-working days.

Since March 23 and 24 fall on Saturday and Sunday, according to the Labor Code, non-working and working days will be replaced. So, March 25 and March 26 will also be non-working days.

Thus, seven consecutive days (March 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26) will be considered as non-working days in Azerbaijan due to Novruz holiday.

The first working day following the holiday will commence on March 27.
