Speaker of Azerbaijan`s Parliament arrives in Tajikistan for official visit

An Azerbaijani parliamentary delegation led by Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova has arrived in Tajikistan for an official visit.
The delegation includes head of the Milli Majlis working group on the Azerbaijan-Tajikistan interparliamentary relations Aydin Mirzazade, members of the group Azer Badamov, Anatoliy Rafailov and other officials.
At the Dushanbe International Airport, the Azerbaijani delegation was met by First Deputy Speaker of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of Tajikistan Rajabboy Akhmadzoda, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Tajikistan Alimirzamin Asgarov, Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Rustam Soli and other officials.
During the trip, Speaker of Azerbaijan`s Parliament Sahiba Gafarova will meet with the speakers of the upper and lower chambers of the Supreme Assembly of Tajikistan. The meetings will discuss the prospects of interparliamentary relations between the two countries, expansion of the bilateral cooperation and other issues.
The visit will last until September 12.
