St. Petersburg hosts CIS News Agencies meeting
St. Petersburg, June 20, AZERTAC
The 33rd meeting of the Council of Heads of the CIS State News Agencies (CIS Information Council) was held in St. Petersburg.
The meeting was attended by heads and representatives of AZERTAC (Azerbaijan), TASS (Russia), Belta (Belarus), Kabar (Kyrgyzstan), Kazinform (Kazakhstan), UzA (Uzbekistan), and Khovar (Tajikistan).
Organized by the Russian TASS News Agency, the meeting reviewed information projects related to the 80th anniversary of the Victory over fascism in World War II, as well as tourism and the exchange of news content.
The participants were provided with detailed information about the preparations for the 3rd CIS Games, which will be held in Azerbaijan this year.
Necessary facilities have been arranged for media representatives in Ganja and other host cities.
AZERTAC will provide extensive coverage of the sports competitions and share the information with its partner agencies.
