Tamiz Shahar JSC attends international solid waste congress in Italy
Baku, September 21 (AZERTAC). Tamiz Shahar JSC of Azerbaijan has participated in the international solid waste congress in Florence, Italy.
Chairman of Executive Board of “Tamiz Shahar” JSC Zakir Ibrahimov made speech on progress achieved in waste management sphere, as well as implemented projects in Azerbaijan.
On works done on establishment of Eco-Industrial Park Mr. Ibrahimov said that Azerbaijan`s experience in the waste management sphere would be a successful model for developing countries.
The Florence world solid waste congress hosted a series of memorable social events in historic palaces and buildings in the city centre.
This Congress has brought together academics presenting cutting edge research; scientists, government administrators and decision makers, representatives of the world’s largest companies in the waste sector, and many other practitioners too from small and medium enterprises.
Waste emergency in developing countries, the most effective policy and technical solutions were the major theme of the Congress.
More than 900 representatives from all the continents were updated on information about progress in waste management.
