Baku, September 25 (AZERTAC). The 10th international congress entitled “Energy, ecology, economy” has today ended here.

The event brought together representatives from more than 30 countries including the United States, Germany, Russia, Turkey, Norway and Japan.

The congress focused on ecological problems of the Caspian Sea and Absheron Peninsula, biological diversity of the Caspian, global ecological problems including global warming, climate change, energy security and alternative energy sources.

The participants heard relevant reports during the event.

The congress was organized by Azerbaijan Ministry of Industry and Energy, National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) and International Ecoenergy Academy (IEA).
