Three more staff members of Switzerland’s embassy in Iran evacuated

Three more employees of the Embassy of Switzerland in Tehran have been evacuated.
The diplomats crossed the border of Iran and safely entered the territory of Azerbaijan through the Astara State Border Checkpoint.
The evacuation was carried out through document verification, registration, and other required procedures. All necessary measures were taken at the border crossing point to ensure safe passage. After completing registration procedures, the evacuees were safely sent to their respective destinations.
The evacuation process at the Astara state border checkpoint continues uninterrupted, with crossings being conducted in accordance with the relevant procedures and under the supervision of the responsible authorities.
