TRAINING COURSE ON TERRORISM KICKS OFF IN BAKU

The Diplomatic Academy of Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Foreign Affairs started the training course entitled “Terrorism: threats and responses. Arms control and prevention of proliferation of weapons” aimed at increasing awareness of NATO`s role in combating international terrorism and proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.

The course will also provide an insight into the conception of national security of Azerbaijan.

The event brings together employees of ministries of foreign affairs, defense, national security, emergency situations, and internal affairs, and the state frontier service.

Experts from the German George Marshall Center and US Monterey University will give lectures during the course.
