TuranBank receives AMCHAM CSR 2015 Excellence Award

TuranBank has been named the third place winner under the nomination “Volunteering” of the AMCHAM CSR 2015 Excellence Award organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan.
The award was given for active participation of the Bank experts in training courses "Plan Your Future" conducted in the regions of the country under the project “Building female professionals and promoting women entrepreneurship development in rural regions of Azerbaijan” project.
The main purpose of the competition was to select the best CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) project realized by the Azerbaijani companies during 2015. Winners of 1st, 2nd and 3rd places were announced under the categories of Environmental Excellence, Education, Corporate Philanthropy, Culture, Sustainability, Volunteering (personal and businesses contribution), Economic Empowerment, and Regional Development. 31 companies with their 55 projects took part in the competition for different nominations and the jury that consisted of the representatives of various governmental organizations carefully analyzed the projects and results were announced in the official ceremony organized on 28th of October 2015.
The Bank, under the its Corporate social responsibility program, regularly helps orphans, the elderly, people with disabilities, and supports sports, cultural and educational projects.
