Turkish political scientist: The democratic election tradition is formed in Azerbaijan

“Azerbaijan has a democratic electoral experience, despite it is a young republic”, Head of Caucasus Strategic Research Centre, Turkish political scientist Hasan Oktay told Secki2020.

He mentioned that elections in Azerbaijan are always held in accordance with democratic principles. Generally, it is important to hold elections in line with the democratic principles and Azerbaijan is always committed to it.

“In this regard, we can note that a transparent, fair and accurate election tradition is formed in Azerbaijan. Over the years, this experience would further develop. I am sure that Azerbaijan would once again demonstrate its commitment to democratic traditions in the parliamentary elections scheduled for February 9”, he said.
