VICE-PREMIER OF AZERBAIJAN MEETS WITH PRESIDENT OF POLAND SOCIAL INSURANCE INSTITUTE
Deputy Prime Minister, chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov met Wednesday with Silvestre Ripinsky, President of the Poland Social Insurance Institute and his accompanying delegation.
Ali Hasanov stressed the role of reciprocal visits of national leader Heydar Aliyev and Polish President Alexander Kwasnevski. According to him, President Ilham Aliyev also visited Poland to participate in the European economic summit and met with Kwasnevski there. Mr. Ilham Aliyev’s official trip to Poland in March 2005 gave an impetus to cooperation between the two countries and helped to develop relationships.
Ali Hasanov told of Armenia`s aggression against Azerbaijan, problems of refugees and IDPS. He stressed that refugee camps no longer exist in Azerbaijan.
Hasanov briefed Polish delegation on President Ilham Aliyev`s stance on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and OSCE Minsk Group`s activity.
Ripinsky told of Poland`s best practices in social security of population. He also briefed Hasanov on the aims of the visit.
The meeting was also attended by chairman of the State Social Protection Fund Salim Muslumov, chief of Cabinet`s department Gurban Sadygov, ambassador of Poland to Azerbaijan Krzysztof Krajewski.
