VIDEOCONFERENCE BETWEEN BAKU AND BRUSSELS HELD
On June 18, by means of Internet - center AzREN, recently opened in the Institute of Information Technologies of ANAS with the participation of the deputy secretary general of NATO Jean Furnet, was held a videoconference between the public diplomacy office of the NATO in Brussels and participants working in Azerbaijan of the NATO “Summer School”.
Director of Institute PhD Rasim Aliguliyev has told correspondent of AzerTAj: the Center has been created within the framework of the project of the NATO “Virtual Silk Road”. It provides our national staff, including post-graduate students and researchers working in the Institutes of ANAS and higher educational institutions, ample opportunities for use of experience and potential of the conducting research and educational centers of the advanced states. During the videoconference, the official representative of the public diplomacy office of NATO Katsirdakis answered questions of participants of «Summer School».
According to the director, under the initiative of the NATO, a seminar on questions of remote education is due in September this year in Baku.
