WELL-KNOWN GERMAN ECOLOGIST TO VISIT AZERBAIJAN
Within a week, the delegation will familiarize with Shirvanshah National Park, visit several regions of country to determine further cooperation in the field of nature-preservation activity. A reception is to be held in honor of the 5th anniversary of creation of Mikhail Zukkov’s Fund, too.
It should be reminded that German ecologist actively participate in nature preservation projects on the territory of Azerbaijan. His Fund arranged international conference in Baku “Protection and preservation of national-cultural heritage of Azerbaijan – program of National Parks”, in 2002, May. The first project, coordinator of which was Azerbaijan Ministry for Ecology and Natural Resources was titled “Rescue of Aggel reserve”. Besides, the Fund promotes the Ministry to conduct scientific researches and train the specialists.
