“WOMEN AND WAR” PHOTO EXHIBITION TO BE OPENED IN BAKU
The International Committee of the Red Cross will be organize “Women and War” photo exhibition on September 19-25 in the Baku Museum Center. Over fifty photographs by well known photographers will be presented at the exhibition. The photographs will reflect the women facing the armed conflicts around the globe.
The exhibition was first held in November 2002 under the aegis of the Queen Rania Al Abdullah in Amman city, Jordan.
During four year, the International Committee of the Red Cross has conducted surveys on theme “Women Facing War” and made films and publications on this theme.
The photo exhibitions have been staged in Paris, Beirut, Budapest, Tashkent, Moscow, Nalchik, Grozny and Khasavyurt.
