WORLD FAMOUS SINGER SAMI YUSUF TO GIVE CONCERTO IN BAKU
Sami Yusuf, a British singer-songwriter of Azeri descent will give a concerto titled “My Homeland” on November 22 at the Heydar Aliyev Sport Complex.
Eldar Aslan, concert organizer, head of Halal studio said that Sami Yusuf will arrive in Baku on November 20 together with his family and ensemble of 30 musicians.
He will perform songs from his My Ummah and AL Muallim albums as well as Azerbaijanis ones.
Yusuf's music comprises mostly of songs to do with Islam and being a Muslim in today's world.
He was born in 1980. At present he is fast becoming a very popular figure in the Islamic world.
