YARAT Artist Studios to open on November 1
YARAT Artist Studios will open on Saturday, 1st November.
YARAT Studios have already become a place where eleven Azerbaijani artists work, rest and exchange ideas; a place filled with their works and creative energy.
YARAT Studios are situated in a newly restored four-storey building where Aida Mahmudova, Orkhan Huseynov, Farid Rasulov, Faig Ahmed, Ramal Kazimov, Vusal Rahim, Farhad Farzaliyev, Nazrin Mammadova, Reza Hazare, Rashad Alakbarov and Niyaz Najafov are creating their works.
The studios have all the necessary features for international artists to live and work comfortably during a residency. It plans to receive its first guests at the beginning of 2015.
On Saturday, 1st November YARAT Studios will open its doors to guests from the afternoon until midnight.
Throughout the day visitors will have an opportunity to get acquainted with the artists who will be happy to share techniques and other details about making paintings, sculptures, shade installations, experimental music, video installations and other forms. The visitors will become a part of the complex and fascinating process of the creation of art.
The opening program also includes a short workshop with Da’Art children's studio and its director Dilara Atakishiyeva, as well as a music program by DJ Pancho.
