“100 Letters to Nizami Ganjavi" contest announced in Türkiye

A contest titled “100 Letters to Nizami Ganjavi,” dedicated to the great Azerbaijani poet, has been announced among universities in Turkiye as a project of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Türkiye.
The main purpose of the competition is to promote the heritage of the great Azerbaijani poet and thinker of the Turkic world, Nizami Ganjavi, whose work is considered a pinnacle of world literature, among educational and scientific institutions. The project is supported by the Yunus Emre Institute in Türkiye and the Ganja Division of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS).
Students from Turkish universities with Literature Faculties will participate in the contest. To support this initiative, the Azerbaijan Cultural Center will send works published in Turkish about Nizami Ganjavi, particularly the poet’s “Khamsa,” to the libraries of these universities.
The competition is set to begin on March 10 and will conclude on September 30. According to the Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Türkiye, detailed information regarding the rules has been shared with the participating universities.
