ADA Vice Rector: Baku-hosted CICA international conference enhances green energy cooperation among Asian Universities VIDEO

“Established in 1992 at the initiative of Kazakhstan, CICA is one of the key platforms promoting multilateral diplomacy, mutual trust and cooperation in the Asian region. During its chairmanship of the organization, Azerbaijan focused on organizing new projects, programs and institutional initiatives,” Fariz Ismailzade, ADA Vice Rector, Member of the Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis, told AZERTAC.
According to him, one of the key directions of the initiatives is the formation of an academic network connecting Asian universities, expansion of scientific-research cooperation between higher education institutions, and promotion of academic exchanges.
“The Baku-hosted international conference aims at creating a platform for collaboration among Asian universities in the fields of climate change, green energy and sustainability. The event will feature discussions on topics such as green energy, energy transition, climate changes and regional approaches. Azerbaijan will share its experience on green energy projects implemented in Karabakh and East Zangezur,” ADA Vice Rector Fariz Ismailzade added.
The Azerbaijani MP also noted that more than 50 guests from 21 countries will familiarize themselves with Azerbaijan's policy against climate change, as well as the measures undertaken within COP29 and the country’s achievements in the field of green energy.
