6th gold for Azerbaijan as wrestler Mursaliyev triumphs

Baku, June 14, AZERTAC

Azerbaijan`s gold medal tally at the first European Games has growth to 6th thanks to a stunning performance of wrestler Elvin Mursaliyev who emerged victorious in the men`s 75 kg weight category.

He outclassed Serbia`s Viktor Nemes to increase the host nation`s medal haul to 11.

Ukraine`s Dmiytro Pyshkov and Russian Chingiz Labazanov grabbed bronze.
