Turkish athletes arrive for Baku 2015 VIDEO

Azerbaijan’s historic event Baku 2015 European Games continues to attract sportsmen from all around Europe.
A group of Turkish athletes arrived at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
Ambassador Ismail Alper Coskun, volunteers of Baku 2015 First European Games, employees of Baku 2015 European Games Operations Committee welcomed the athletes.
An exciting and innovative new multi-sport event of the continent will include 20 sports, 16 of which are Olympic, during the 17 days of competition in June 12-28. 6,000 athletes will prove themselves in Baku.
Turkey will be presented by 153 athletes, 63 females and 90 males, in 20 sports.
During the first European Games, one athlete will represent Turkey in the competitions on track and field athletics, four athletes - shooting, 8 - basketball, 4 - rhythmic gymnastics, 13 - boxing, 3 - fencing, two - table tennis, one - sambo, 12 - swimming, 6 - cycling, 24- wrestling, 11- karate, 2- archery, 4 - beach volleyball, 3 - triathlon, 2 - judo, 10 - synchronized swimming, 13 - water polo, 24 - volleyball, 6 - canoeing.
