90TH ANNIVERSARY OF AZERBAIJAN DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC MARKED ABROAD
Azerbaijan Embassy in Kuwait held a series of ceremonies to mark the 90th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (ADR).
Shahin Abdullayev, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Kuwait told of political, economic and social reforms carried out in Azerbaijan after the country regained independence in 1991, as well as Armenia’s occupation policy against Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan-Kuwait relations.

Another ceremony to mark ADR’s 90th anniversary took place in Tajikistan. The ceremony brought together Foreign Minister of Tajikistan Hamrokhon Zarifi, foreign ambassadors to the country and representatives of Azerbaijan Diaspora.
Maharram Aliyev, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Tajikistan informed the event participants about the ADR’s history, as well as the country’s successful reforms under the leadership of national leader Heydar Aliyev and the incumbent President Ilham Aliyev.

Azerbaijan Embassy in Jordan held a ceremony to mark the 90th anniversary of the ADR.
The event brought together Jordan’s high ranking officials, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited to the country, members of the Azerbaijan-Jordan Friendship Society.
