Baku, May 2, AZERTAC
A delegation headed by president of the National Assembly of the Republic of Djibouti Mohamed Ali Houmed has embarked on an official visit to Azerbaijan.
At the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, first deputy chairman of Milli Majlis Ziyafat Asgarov greeted the delegation.
In an interview with reporters at the airport, Ali Houmed said the visit aims to strengthen inter-parliamentary ties and establish relations between the two nations.
“An inter-parliamentary friendship group was established between Azerbaijan and Djibouti. Djibouti's parliament adopted a resolution condemning the occupation of Azerbaijani lands by Armenia,” he added.
