ADA REPRESENTATIVES DELIVER LECTURE AT INDONESIAN EDUCATION AND TRAINING CENTRE
With the assistance of the Embassy of Indonesia to Azerbaijan, officers of the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA) Fariz Ismayilzadeh and Taleh Ziyadov have given a lecture at the Education and Training Centre of Indonesian Foreign Affairs Ministry. The lecture covered the following subjects: “Azerbaijan, Caucasus and Central Asia", "Azerbaijan’s contribution to energy security", "Security threat in the Caspian region", "Azerbaijan and projects of East-West and North-South transport corridors". The lecture also delt with strategic position of Azerbaijan, history, directions of foreign and domestic policy after the restoration of national independence, economical development, religious freedom, security and geopolitics of the country and other issues.
Speakers also went into detail on Azerbaijan contribution to realization of the "East-West" and "North-South" transport corridors projects in terms of ensuring energy security. The problem of Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over the Nagorno-Karabakh was also discussed.
After the lecture, speakers met the Head of Education and Training Centre of Indonesia Mr. Darmansjah Jumala and and delivered him a message of greetings from the ADA President, deputy foreign minister of Azerbaijan Mr. Hafiz Pashayev. The parties have also discussed the issues of mutual cooperation.
The visit of Indonesian delegation to Azerbaijan is due in the nearest time. Draft memorandum of understanding between Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy and Education and Training Centre of Indonesia is being developed.
