Dear Mr. Aslanov, dear colleagues from AZERTAC!
On behalf of the Ukrainian national news agency Ukrinform, I cordially congratulate AZERTAC’s staff on the occasion of its 100th anniversary. As a news agency that marked its 100th anniversary two years ago Ukrinform knows best which historic milestones such an anniversary features.
What it is important is that both AZERTAC and Ukrinform new agencies were established before the formation of the Soviet Union. AZERTAC was founded during the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, while Ukrinform at the same time with the Ukrainian People's Republic. This puts a great burden of responsibility on both you and us. We have been cooperating for many years. In the years ahead, our news agencies are going to face common challenges in the field of information such as the spread of fake news.
As we evaluate our two agencies’ a century-old brand, we know better than anyone else that these are serious threats that require a great deal of creative work. My wish is that this brand new century in AZERTAC`s history be marked by a greater quality and scale of your work. I wish you many new significant projects, dear AZERTAC!
