ANAMA: 59 mines and 382 unexploded ordnances neutralized last week

From June 30 to July 6, Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) carried out mine-clearance operations in the districts of Tartar, Aghdara, Kalbajar, Aghdam, Khojaly, Khankendi, Khojavend, Lachin, Shusha, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Jabrayil, and Zangilan.
According to ANAMA, a total of 43 anti-personnel mines, 16 anti-tank mines, and 382 unexploded ordnances (UXOs) were discovered and neutralized during the operations.
The agency also reported that an area totaling 2,331.8 hectares was cleared of mines and UXOs during the reporting period.
