Application of "ASAN Khidmet" model to be further expanded across Africa

Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, met with Temesgen Tiruneh, Ethiopia's Deputy Prime Minister, as part of his visit to the country.
During the meeting, Tiruneh extended his gratitude to the Azerbaijani government for its support in in establishing the ‘MESOB’ service center, which was created based on the ‘ASAN Khidmet’ model.” The Ethiopian side emphasized that the number of public service centers operating in Ethiopia will be further increased by leveraging Azerbaijan’s advanced experience.
The Chairman of the State Agency expressed his confidence that the “MESOB” public service center would earn strong trust from citizens, and reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to supporting Ethiopia in launching similar centers in the future.
As part of the visit, Ulvi Mehdiyev also met with Selma Haddadi, Deputy Chairperson of the African Union Commission. During the meeting, she was presented with the “ASAN Khidmet” model, as well as various innovative projects implemented by the State Agency to deliver public services.
Selma Haddadi noted that the “ASAN Khidmet” model had made a strong impression on her, and expressed her readiness to cooperate in sharing this experience with the member states of the Union.
Ulvi Mehdiyev also met with the Head of the Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute and the Head of the Investment Commission (EIC) to discuss potential cooperation in the field of public service delivery.
