“ASAN Khidmet" joins UN Public Service Forum 2025

An Azerbaijani delegation led by Jeyhun Salmanov, Deputy Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, participated in the United Nations (UN) Public Services Forum held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
Jeyhun Salmanov took part in roundtable discussions attended by ministers of the participating countries and provided detailed information about the country’s achievements in public services and the "ASAN Khidmet" model.
Innovations introduced in Azerbaijan’s public services, the development path of the "ASAN Khidmet" model, the importance of public-private partnerships in this context, and the diverse technological solutions implemented attracted significant interest from international participants.
The Deputy Chairman emphasized that the State Agency received the UN Public Service Award in 2015 and a UN Special Award in 2019 for developing public services through digital governance.
As part of the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation held meetings with the executives of relevant state institutions from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Solomon Islands, Djibouti, Mali, and Namibia, and held extensive discussions on identifying potential areas for cooperation.
Additionally, the successes of Azerbaijan and the "ASAN Khidmet" brand were presented to participants during the workshops.
