Azerbaijan, Belarus exchange experience on labour and social protection of population

A videoconference meeting was held between representatives of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population and Belarusian Ministry of Labour and Social Protection.
The meeting aimed to facilitate an exchange of experience within the framework of the 2025–2026 Action Plan for implementing the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the fields of labour, employment, and social protection between the two ministries.
Rashad Mustafayev, emphasized the high level of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus, and spoke about the reforms undertaken in recent years in the fields of labour, employment, and social protection in Azerbaijan.
He also provided insight into the DOST concept, the development of electronic services in the social sphere, and the mechanisms for the proactive allocation of social payments.
Tatyana Astreiko, First Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Belarus, expressed satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations and the ongoing cooperation in the social sphere, grounded in the friendly relations between the two countries.
The meeting also featured an exchange of experience on the digitalization of social security and the allocation of social payments.
