Azerbaijan, Belgium explore prospects for demining cooperation

Vugar Suleymanov, Chairman of the Board of Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency, met with Julien de Fraipont, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, Vugar Suleymanov highlighted the progress of humanitarian demining efforts being carried out in Karabakh and East Zangezur.
The parties exchanged views on potential future cooperation between the two countries in the field of demining, including organizing training sessions and experience exchange related to mine detection dogs, as well as other matters of mutual interest.
