AZERBAIJAN DELEGATION MEET PRESIDENT OF TURKMENISTAN IN ASHGABAT
Turkmen president Gurbanguly Berdymuhammedov met with President of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) Emil Majidov and his accompanying delegation who are in Ashgabad for the first Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan Business Forum.
The President told of the socio-economic reforms carried out in his country. He stressed the Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan Business Forum would contribute to mutual cooperation between the two fraternal countries.
Emil Majidov noted that Turkmen President’s recent visit to Azerbaijan opened a new chapter in bilateral relations and long-term cooperation between the two countries. According to him, various meetings aiming to expand bilateral cooperation were held during the forum.
Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Turkmenistan Elkhan Huseynov was also present at the meeting.
