Baku, July 30 (AZERTAC). The Government of Azerbaijan and the European Union signed an aviation agreement.

Arif Mammadov, director of the Azerbaijan State Civil Aviation Administration, said the agreement would allow all European airlines to fly between any EU Member State and Azerbaijan.

The Agreement will be the basis to further strengthen aviation relations between the partners.

The strengthening of aviation relations between the EU and Azerbaijan was also marked by the signing of a “Working arrangement” between the European Aviation Safety Agency and the aviation authorities of Azerbaijan. The document was also signed by 10 non-EU states.
