AZERBAIJAN FM MEETS RUSSIAN DEPUTY FOREIGN MINISTER
Elmar Mammadyarov, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Grigory Karasin, the Ministry said.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the speedy development of the Azerbaijan-Russia relations.
Mr. Karasin stressed his country backs Azerbaijan’ s territorial integrity and activities by the Minsk Group co-chairs to settle the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict peacefully.
The Azerbaijani Minister, for his turn, said the conflict must be resolved only within territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
According to Mr. Mammadyarov, only this way of the conflict settlement can contribute to the stability in region and reliable neighboring relations.
The meeting also focused on other issues of mutual interest.
