Azerbaijan, Indonesia agree to sign military cooperation agreement

Baku, January 15 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan and Indonesia have agreed to ink an agreement on military cooperation as Azeri Minister of Defense Safar Abiyev met Secretary General of the Indonesian Ministry of Defense Eris Herryanto in Baku.

They discussed prospects for building and developing military cooperation between the two countries.

The Azeri Defense Minister highlighted the military-political situation in the region, particularly the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Herryanto said Indonesia supported Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity.

Indonesian ambassador Raden Prayono Atiyanto was also present at the meeting.
