AZERBAIJAN PARLIAMENT SPEAKER MEETS KAZAKHSTAN`S NEWLY APPOINTED AMBASSADOR TO AZERBAIJAN
Ogtay Asadov, Speaker of the Azerbaijan Parliament (Milli Majlis) met with Serik Primbetov Kazakhstan`s newly appointed ambassador to Azerbaijan on May 4.
The Speaker said Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan relations are deeply rooted, adding that there are prospects for expanding these relations.
He stressed reciprocal visits by both countries` leaders had contributed to developing cooperation even more. According to him, economic, cultural and humanitarian relations are successfully continuing at parliaments` level, too.
Serik Primbetov, in his turn, said his country is curious about cooperation with Azerbaijan and added that he would make every effort to deepen relations between the two countries even more.
The meeting also discussed expansion of inter-parliamentary relations, perspectives of all-round cooperation and other issues of mutual interest.
