AZERBAIJAN PARLIAMENTARY DELEGATION TO ATTEND BSEC`S SUMMIT IN ATHENS
Azerbaijan`s Parliamentary delegation led by Speaker Ogtay Asadov will leave for Athens, Greece on June 9 to attend a meeting of the Presidents of the Parliaments of the PABSEC Member Countries and 31st PABSEC General Assembly.
The delegation includes MPs Asaf Hajiyev, Mubariz Gurbanly, Musa Guliyev, Vidadi Mammadov, Zhale Aliyeva, Head of the Milli Majlis Administration Safa Mirzayev.
The meeting and the 31st session will focus on the role of investments in the Black Sea region`s economic development, contribution of parliaments to the fight against international terrorism, safeguarding political stability in the region and other issues.
During the visit, Ogtay Asadov will meet with president of Greece Karolos Papoulias, Greek and Moldovan parliament speakers Dimitrios Siufas and Marian Lupu, chairman of Ukraine`s Verkhovna Rada Arseniy Yatsenyuk and other officials. The sides will exchange views on economic, trade, ecological and technology cooperation.
The visit will end on June 10.
