AZERBAIJAN PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVED OUTSTANDING MUSICIAN AND CONDUCTOR MSTISLAV ROSTROPOVICH
Sincerely greeting the distinguished guest, President Ilham Aliyev expressed deep satisfaction with the meeting with Mr. Rostropovich, and updated him on the achievements Azebaijan gained as a result of the reforms successfully implemented in the country.
The Head of State stressed the importance of the regular visits to motherland by good friend of national leader Heydar Aliyev Mr.Rostropovich who is also held in high respect of the whole Azerbaijani people.
Mstislav Rostropovich for his part, expressed deep gratitude to the President for the the kind words, and noted it gives him a great pleasure to be in the homeland again. He also said he was very proud of the accomplishments gained in the country, which is very dear to him.
Expressing satisfaction that the huge work done by national leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev for rapid development of Azerbaijan is now successfully continued, the genial musician stressed he had been a witness of the people’s high respect and love to President Ilham Aliyev.
Mr. Rostropovich also announced that vaccination of children in Azerbaijan provided by the Vishnevskaya-Rostropovich Fund would be further continued in hundreds of thousands of children.
The musician finally expressed confidence that the country would gain more success in the future.
