AZERBAIJAN PRESIDENT RECEIVES KUWAITI DELEGATION LED BY MINISTER OF AMIRI DIWAN
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Tuesday a Kuwaiti delegation led by Minister of Amiri Diwan Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
During the conversation, the Amiri Diwan Minister recalled his meetings with Azerbaijan`s nationwide leader, late President Heydar Aliyev.
He conveyed greetings from the Kuwaiti Emir and Prime Minister to the Azerbaijani President.
Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah said Kuwait is interested in boosting overall cooperation with Azerbaijan, and added he believes the bilateral relations between the two countries will continue developing.
President Ilham Aliyev praised the level of Azerbaijan-Kuwait relations, especially the political ones.
He expressed confidence that the two countries will enhance their economic cooperation.
The Azerbaijani leader said he strongly believes the Kuwaiti delegation`s current visit will serve to strengthen the bilateral relations.
President Ilham Aliyev asked the Amiri Diwan Minister to pass on his greetings to the Emir and Prime Minister of Kuwait.
