Azerbaijan provides humanitarian aid to Yemen

The UN High-Level Donor Conference has today been held in Geneva, Switzerland in order to provide aid to Yemen in connection with the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the country.
Azerbaijan was represented by Director of the International Development Agency (AIDA) of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Ashraf Shikhaliyev, the Ministry's press service has told AZERTAC.
In his remarks, Ashraf Shikhaliyev noted that Azerbaijan, which has always been committed to Islamic solidarity and declared 2017 a "Year of Islamic Solidarity", provided humanitarian aid to Yemen which is now experiencing a deep humanitarian crisis.
