Azerbaijan represented at 17th gala concert of TURKSOY Opera Days in Turkmenistan

The 17th gala concert was held as part of the TURKSOY Opera Days at the Mukamlar Palace in Ashgabat. The event was dedicated to fostering cultural cooperation among Turkic states and promoting their shared musical heritage.
The concert program was presented with the accompaniment of the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan and featured distinguished performers from Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan. Azerbaijan was represented by renowned opera singers, Honored Artist Farida Mammadova and Taleh Yahyayev. The performances by the Azerbaijani artists were met with warm appreciation by the audience.
The classical pieces performed by them reflected Azerbaijan’s rich cultural heritage and deep musical traditions, once again demonstrating the country’s high creative potential in the field of the arts.
The concert brought together senior officials of Turkmenistan and TURKSOY, ambassadors of foreign states accredited to Turkmenistan, representatives of diplomatic missions, cultural and artistic figures, as well as public and media representatives.
At the conclusion of the event, representatives of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Turkmenistan met with the performers and presented them with bouquets in recognition of their contribution to the success of the concert.
