AZERBAIJAN, RUSSIA SIGN INTERGOVERNMENTAL DOCUMENTS
Following the talks between Azerbaijani and Russian delegations chaired by Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Dmitry Medvedev, the parties signed several intergovernmental documents.
The two leaders signed a joint Declaration on friendship and strategic partnership between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation.
Other documents signed included: Memorandum on cooperation between the State Committee for Management of State Property of Azerbaijan and the Federal Agency for Federal Property Management of Russia in the field of privatization and public property management; Agreement between the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan and the Federal Customs Service of Russia on cooperation in preventing customs violations; Memorandum between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia on cooperation in ensuring cargo security; Agreement between the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Azerbaijan and the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Russia on archival cooperation.
